Antonio Ken-Tarrius Hall, known professionally as Tonio Hall, was fatally shot Tuesday evening inside a residence in Norton Shores, Michigan.
Norton Shores police responded to the 3200 block of Ingersol Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. on September 15 following a report of a person suffering from gunshot injuries.
Officers and emergency medical personnel found Hall inside the residence with multiple gunshot wounds. First responders attempted lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hall was 27 and a resident of Texas. He was also known as an R&B artist, with his 2022 song “OMW” among his better-known releases. Reports about his death have been shared by family members and people connected to his music career.
Police recovered a firearm and said the suspect initially fled the scene. A 26-year-old Muskegon man was later arrested. His name had not been released because prosecutors were still reviewing the case to determine what charges, if any, would be authorized.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Norton Shores Police Department.
