๐Ÿ’ Lance Cordell Remembered as Beloved Norway House Youth Hockey Coach

Lance Cordell is being remembered in Norway House, Manitoba, following his passing and the deep grief it has brought to the close-knit community.

Cordell was involved with Norway House Minor Hockey and served as one of the coaches for the Norway House North Stars A youth team. Current team records list him among the coaching staff alongside other local coaches.

For the young players he coached, Lance was more than someone behind the bench. A youth hockey coach can become a mentor, role model, and trusted figure who encourages children through both victories and difficult moments.

His connection to local hockey meant his passing was felt not only by his family and friends, but also by players, parents, fellow coaches, and others throughout Norway House.

The community is now preparing to come together to remember his life. According to funeral arrangements reported by Turtle Island Funeral Home, a two-night wake is scheduled to begin Friday, September 11, at the Kinosao Sipi Multiplex Auditorium. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, September 13, at the same location.

Details surrounding the circumstances of Lance Cordell's death have not been publicly released, and no cause of death should be assumed.

As Norway House prepares to say goodbye, those who knew Lance are remembering the role he played in the community and the young athletes he helped guide.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ His presence on and beyond the hockey rink will remain part of the memories shared by those whose lives he touched.
