MARION COUNTY, Iowa — A 29-year-old Knoxville man died after being ejected from his truck in a rollover crash south of Pella on Saturday night, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
The crash happened just before midnight Saturday, Oct. 24, on Highway T-17, east of 216th Place. Troopers said Alex Eugene Killoren was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado west when it failed to negotiate a curve, ran into a ditch, and went over a drainage culvert before overturning at least once.
Killoren was ejected from the vehicle. Pella Community Ambulance took him to Pella Regional Health Center, where he died of his injuries. The patrol's report says he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The Iowa State Patrol says the crash remains under investigation.
