In Loving Memory: Burke Duncan Jr., 86, Remembered After a Tragic Lancaster County Crash.

LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — An 86-year-old Lancaster County man died Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash, leaving his family, friends and community grieving, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP).
Troopers responded to the crash around 11:08 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, on Pageland Highway (SC 9) at Heyward Hough Road. SCHP said a 2012 Honda was traveling east when it collided with a 2000 Buick that was turning out of a private driveway. The Buick's driver, Burke Duncan Jr., was taken to MUSC-Lancaster, where he died of his injuries. The Honda's driver was taken to a hospital by EMS with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by SCHP and the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.
At 86, Duncan had journeyed through decades of life, carrying memories and experiences that cannot be measured by time alone. Every life tells a story, and every goodbye leaves behind an emptiness that words can scarcely describe. Though the details of his personal life haven't been publicly shared, his passing deserves to be remembered with dignity, compassion and respect.
As the Lancaster County community reflects on this loss, may those who knew and loved him find strength in the memories they hold dear.
