A heartbreaking shooting in Gaston County, North Carolina, has left a community mourning after four people were found shot inside a home on Forbes Road Thursday morning.
Gaston County police received a 911 call about the shooting at approximately 8:40 a.m. on September 10. Officers responding to the home in the 2600 block of Forbes Road discovered four people with gunshot wounds inside the residence. They immediately began lifesaving measures until fire and emergency medical crews arrived.
Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were transported to CaroMont Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to later reporting.
