🚨 Chinese National Rescued Alive After 10 Days Trapped in Nepal Tunnel

A Chinese national has been rescued alive from a tunnel in Nepal after spending 10 days trapped underground following a devastating disaster in the Himalayan region.

The man was pulled from the tunnel on Saturday, September 5, according to Nepalese authorities, in a rescue operation that has drawn international attention.

The tunnel was damaged after a wall of ice, rock and mud swept through the Himalayan valley, causing widespread destruction and leaving thousands of people dead or missing.

The rescue comes as emergency teams continue searching damaged infrastructure for survivors.

Reuters reported that the disaster has killed more than 1,300 people across the affected areas, while hundreds and potentially thousands remain unaccounted for. (Reuters)

Two Nepalese workers were also reportedly rescued alive from the same hydropower facility during the ongoing operation, raising hopes that additional survivors could still be found.

Rescue teams have faced extremely difficult conditions, including damaged tunnels, unstable terrain and large amounts of debris left behind by the disaster.

Authorities and emergency workers are continuing search-and-rescue operations while assessing the full scale of the destruction.

The survival of the Chinese national after 10 days underground has become one of the most remarkable developments in the aftermath of the disaster and has renewed hope for families still waiting for news of missing relatives.

International rescue teams and local authorities remain involved in efforts to locate survivors and recover those still missing.
