Billionaire investor Leon Black has declined to appear before a U.S. congressional committee examining the activities and connections surrounding the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Rather than appearing before the committee, Black has taken legal action, filing a lawsuit that challenges the committee’s efforts to summon him.
The dispute adds another legal development to the ongoing congressional investigation into Epstein and people connected to him.
