Jair Vera Molina was traveling westbound on Harrison Avenue when he collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Holmes Street.
The impact threw him into the roadway, prompting bystanders and first responders to rush to the scene. Emergency personnel quickly began efforts to save his life before he was taken to a hospital.
Despite doctors’ efforts, Molina’s injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced dead approximately 32 minutes after the crash.
His family was informed of his death shortly afterward, leaving relatives, friends and members of the local community grieving over the sudden loss.
The tragedy serves as another painful reminder of how quickly a normal journey can turn into a devastating accident.
