A heartbreaking tragedy has claimed the life of 17-year-old Ashton Kepler of Arcadia, NY, following a motorcycle crash on Wood Lane at approximately 12:25 a.m. Sunday.
According to the account provided, Kepler was traveling westbound when his motorcycle left the roadway and ended up in a ditch near the tree line. First responders arrived shortly after the crash and immediately began CPR at the scene.
Kepler was transported to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, where medical personnel later pronounced him dead. His sudden passing has left family members, friends, and others in the community struggling to come to terms with the loss of a young life that had so much ahead of it.
