Another staff member is being investigated for allegedly inappropriately accessing the private medical records of AFL legend Tony Modra, SA Health has confirmed.
Modra was seriously injured in a truck crash at Back Valley, near Victor Harbor on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula, in June, and later underwent facial surgery.
Last month, SA Health said three staff were being investigated for allegedly inappropriately accessing the private medical records of the former Crow, while a further five employees were also being "assessed" to determine whether their access was "always appropriate".
In a statement, SA Health today said the investigation was ongoing.

"One additional SA Health staff member is under investigation for potential inappropriate access of a patient record, following an audit that identified eight staff members who remain under investigation," the statement said.
"In total, nine staff members are part of the current investigation, which is ongoing."
The alleged breaches are not the first time that concerns have been raised about SA Health staff inappropriately accessing patient records in cases involving high-profile individuals.
In 2016, 13 hospital staff were sanctioned after being caught snooping on the medical records of Cy Walsh, who was charged with the stabbing murder of his father — Crows coach Phil Walsh — before being found not guilty by reason of mental incompetence.
In 2024, ABC News revealed an SA Health investigation had found 18 staff engaged in misconduct or inappropriately accessed the medical records of a patient understood to be Charlie Stevens, the late son of SA Police Commissioner Grant Stevens.

SA Health has previously apologised to Modra's family.
The department has also previously said it regularly conducted audits "to ensure that staff are accessing appropriate information".
"Any staff member who has accessed information inappropriately may be subject to disciplinary processes, which may include termination of their employment," SA Health said previously.
Last month, Modra posted an update on his progress on social media, saying he was "getting out and about" and praising the medical staff involved in his recovery.
