Search Continues for Christin "Chrissy" Munn-Holliday, 22, Texas Mother Missing After Atchafalaya Basin Bridge Crash; Wig Linked to Her by DNA

IBERVILLE PARISH, La. — Nearly a month after she vanished following a crash on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, the search for 22-year-old Christin "Chrissy" Munn-Holliday of the Katy area continues, and her family is still demanding answers.
Louisiana State Police said they responded early Wednesday, Sept. 30, to a two-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 10 near milepost 128. Munn-Holliday was driving a black BMW. When troopers and Iberville Parish deputies arrived, her car was empty. Investigators believe she left the scene on foot, and witnesses told authorities she began walking east on the bridge. Her phone last pinged at the crash site. She is the mother of a 4-year-old son.
Her father, Robert Munn, has said he doesn't believe the account that she walked away, saying that "you can't walk that bridge without being seen." Her mother, LaReshia Holliday, has asked state police to expand the investigation and review surveillance footage.
Last week, state police arrested 21-year-old Sandrea Davis on a charge of reckless operation in connection with the crash. Investigators said the arrest is not connected to Munn-Holliday's disappearance. Davis was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 28.
According to sources who spoke with WAFB, a wig found near the bridge weeks ago has been linked to Munn-Holliday through DNA. Authorities have not confirmed what that means for the investigation. State police, the United Cajun Navy, and community members have searched on foot and by boat near the bridge, and a $20,000 reward has been offered.
