A Melbourne man has been remanded in custody after being extradited to Perth to face charges of sexually assaulting a girl he allegedly met on social media and through online gaming.
Police said Gumarn Yenpensook Coldicott, 31, dealt with the teenager online before flying to Perth to meet her in September 2025.
He has been accused of indecent dealing, making an indecent recording and three counts of sexual penetration of a child, over the age of 13 and under 16.
The girl, from WA's Kimberley region, came forward in January this year and reported the crimes, according to detectives.

WA Police, Victoria Police Sexual Crimes Investigation Team and the Australian Border Force executed a search warrant at a Point Cook address on Monday.
Mr Coldicott was arrested and extradited to Perth.
He appeared briefly in the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday and did not apply for bail.

He did not speak, only nodding to imply he understood the charges against him.
'Very serious'
WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch said the alleged offences were "very serious", adding that it was especially alarming for parents that the allegations involved a gaming platform.
"The very nature that that engagement did occur across the country on gaming and/or social media platforms is concerning," he said.

"It just reinforces, if you're a young person and you're at home, parents should be involved in your life enough to know what you are doing and who you're talking to because things like this sadly do happen."
