Approximately four hours after the crash, around 5:17 a.m., authorities located the suspected vehicle at the residence and arrested 27-year-old Aaron Aguilar.
Aguilar was booked into the Dawson County Detention Center.

The charges are allegations and do not constitute a finding of guilt. Aguilar remains entitled to due process as the criminal case proceeds.
The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
For Perez's family and friends, her death represents a sudden and painful loss. At 39 years old, her life ended unexpectedly in the early hours of Saturday morning.
