Lisa Arquette Bradford, 54, Killed in Aldie Shooting; Husband Charged With Murder

Today, we pause to remember Lisa Arquette Bradford, 54, whose life came to a tragic end inside her Aldie, Virginia, home.

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a residence in the 24000 block of Quimby Oaks Place at approximately 12:10 p.m. on September 22 after a relative contacted 911.

When deputies arrived, they found Lisa Bradford deceased at the scene. Authorities said she had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

Investigators identified Lisa's husband, 60-year-old Roger Bradford, as a suspect in the killing. Authorities said he had left the residence before deputies arrived, prompting a search that extended through Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania State Police located Bradford in Bedford, Pennsylvania, at approximately 3:15 p.m. He was taken into custody and is being held pending extradition to Virginia.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office charged Bradford with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Authorities described the shooting as domestic in nature and said there was no continuing threat to the public.

Lisa was a Northern Virginia real estate agent and had worked as a Realtor since 2008. Her professional career and community connections have led those who knew her to remember her following the sudden loss.

The couple had three children, according to the sheriff, with two attending college and another enrolled in high school.

The investigation remains ongoing. The allegations against Roger Bradford are matters for the criminal justice process, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

For Lisa's family, friends and community, her death has left behind grief and a painful loss as investigators continue working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the shooting.
