Lana L. Pratt, 77, of Warsaw, Indiana, is being remembered following a fatal two-vehicle crash in La Porte County.
According to the information provided by Carmex Today, deputies responded at approximately 12:15 p.m. to the 2900 north block of Fail Road after a collision involving a black 2014 Toyota and a silver 2024 Kia.
Investigators reportedly determined that the Toyota was traveling north when it crossed the center line and collided with the southbound Kia. Lana was a passenger in the Kia. She sustained injuries and was later pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital.
Her husband, 71-year-old John W. Pratt, was driving the Kia and was also injured. He was transported to a regional hospital for treatment. The Toyota's driver, identified as 38-year-old Aaron D. Keehn of La Porte, also sustained an upper-body injury and received medical care.
Authorities reported that toxicology results were pending and the investigation was continuing. Further findings have not been provided in the supplied report.
