In Loving Memory of Senior Airman Tamera Moniq Bolden-Cleckley: A Life of Service, Courage, and Light. 🕊️💔

On September 23, 2026, a heartbreaking discovery near Range Road 234 and Lewis Turner Boulevard in Florida brought unimaginable sorrow. The body of 26-year-old Senior Airman Tamera Moniq Bolden-Cleckley of Boerne, Texas, was found inside a burned vehicle after an Eglin employee discovered the scene that morning and alerted authorities. Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and members of the 96th Security Forces Squadron responded, before the scene was turned over to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, which continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.

Tamera was far more than a name in a heartbreaking report. She was a young woman who had dedicated herself to serving others, wearing the uniform with purpose and pride. She entered the United States Air Force in 2021 and served as a diagnostic imaging specialist, working as a radiology technician with the 96th Surgical Operations Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base.

At only 26 years old, a life filled with dreams, possibilities, friendships, and memories was suddenly silenced. Her passing leaves behind an emptiness that words can never fully explain—a silence felt by family, friends, fellow Airmen, colleagues, and everyone whose life she touched.

Col. Chris Keithley, commander of the 96th Test Wing, remembered Tamera as a valued member of the team and extended condolences to those grieving her loss. Her fellow Airmen and colleagues are also receiving counseling and support as they struggle to process the devastating loss.

Today, we remember Senior Airman Tamera Moniq Bolden-Cleckley not simply for the tragic circumstances of her passing, but for the life she lived and the service she gave.

May her memory remain a gentle light in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her service never be forgotten, and may those grieving find strength in the beautiful memories she left behind.

Rest peacefully, Senior Airman Tamera Moniq Bolden-Cleckley. 🕊️🇺🇸💐

Gone far too soon, but never forgotten.
