The crash occurred at approximately 4:54 a.m. Thursday, September 24, near mile marker 10 on westbound I-270.
According to the Madison County Coroner’s Office, Andrew was pronounced deceased at the scene at approximately 5:52 a.m.
An autopsy is expected to assist authorities in determining the cause and manner of his death.
The crash remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Madison County Coroner’s Office.
