🚨 Gabriel Jesus to Barcelona! Deal Agreed as Arsenal Forward Heads to Spain

Barcelona have reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Gabriel Jesus, bringing the Brazilian forward closer to a move to Camp Nou.

The transfer has developed rapidly, with Barcelona now reaching an agreement with Arsenal over a permanent deal for the 29-year-old striker. Reports indicate that the initial fee is worth €10 million, with additional bonuses potentially increasing the overall value of the transfer.

Jesus has reportedly been given permission by Arsenal to travel to Spain, with his medical scheduled for Monday. The medical will represent the next major step before the transfer is officially completed.

The move represents a new chapter in Jesus’ career after four seasons with Arsenal. He joined the Gunners from Manchester City in 2022 and went on to become an important attacking option for the London club.

Barcelona have been searching for attacking reinforcements following the departure of Robert Lewandowski, while their pursuit of Atlético Madrid forward Julián Álvarez has failed to produce an agreement so far. Jesus has emerged as an alternative option for manager Hansi Flick.

According to reports, Jesus will sign a two-year contract with Barcelona, with an option for a further year. This would keep him at the Catalan club until at least 2028, with the option extending the agreement into 2029.

The transfer also gives Jesus an opportunity to revive his career after a difficult period at Arsenal. Injuries and competition for places limited his playing time, with the forward falling behind other attacking options in the squad.

At Barcelona, Jesus will provide experience, versatility and attacking depth. He has previously played as a central striker and across the attacking line, giving Flick another option in the final third.

The reported €10 million fixed fee represents a significant departure from the amount Arsenal paid Manchester City for Jesus in 2022. Arsenal signed him for more than €50 million and he went on to contribute goals and assists during his time in North London.

The final stages of the transfer now depend on Jesus completing his medical and the clubs finalising the remaining paperwork.

If everything goes according to plan, Gabriel Jesus will soon be unveiled as a new Barcelona player.
