On September 22, 2026, the Wylie community was touched by a heartbreaking loss when a tragic crash claimed the life of 42-year-old Wylie resident Anthony Mills.
At approximately 6:00 p.m., Wylie Police and Wylie Fire Rescue responded to the area of South Ballard Avenue and Elm Drive following a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
Mills was involved in the crash and suffered fatal injuries. Despite the emergency response, he died as a result of the collision.
The crash brought emergency crews to the area as investigators began working to establish what happened in the moments leading up to the collision.
