According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred at about 1:05 a.m. within the Hobson City limits in Calhoun County.
Calhoun was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Calhoun’s passing has left family members, friends and others who knew him mourning the loss of a young life.
